# Strut

> Strut is a free app for tattoo artists and piercers: weekly post contests by style, bookings, signed consent forms, deposits through your own Stripe account, reminders, aftercare, photo looks that never retouch the tattoo, captions and books, all in one place.

Strut is built first for Rachel Rose Ink and open to tattoo artists, piercers, shop owners and their clients. Artists join with an invite code; clients join free.

## What it does

- Win it. A weekly post contest for every style, local to national, with points, glowing tier badges, title plaques and a feed boost.
- Book it. Your page and link, booking requests with intake, signed consent forms, deposits through your own Stripe account, reminders and aftercare.
- Post it. Photo looks that leave the tattoo untouched, captions, one tap to share to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Run it. Books and receipts, clients, and for shops: rent collection and a shop dashboard.

## Weekly contests

Every week Strut runs a post contest for each tattoo style. An artist enters one public piece, other artists judge it in rounds (their area, then their region, then national), and winners earn points toward an animated tier badge from Bronze up to Ink Royalty, a title such as "Top 15% Black and Gray" on their page, a glow behind the winning piece and a feed boost. Shops get rankings by city and style and a Hall of Fame. Judging cards show no names or follower counts, and the glow is drawn around the frame, never on the tattoo.

- Strut never retouches, sharpens, smooths or enhances the tattoo itself. Edits are whole-photo only: crop, white balance, vignette and the artist's logo.
- The artist approves every booking. The assistant answers common questions but cannot book, confirm, cancel or move anything.

## Pricing

- Free: free
