The weekly contest

Every week Strut runs a post contest for each tattoo style. An artist enters one public piece, other artists judge it in rounds (their area, then their region, then national), and winners earn points toward an animated tier badge from Bronze up to Ink Royalty, a title such as "Top 15% Black and Gray" on their page, a glow behind the winning piece and a feed boost. Shops get rankings by city and style and a Hall of Fame. Judging cards show no names or follower counts, and the glow is drawn around the frame, never on the tattoo.
