Strut is a free app for tattoo artists and piercers: weekly post contests by style, bookings, signed consent forms, deposits through your own Stripe account, reminders, aftercare, photo looks that never retouch the tattoo, captions and books, all in one place.

What Strut does

The weekly contest

Every week Strut runs a post contest for each tattoo style. An artist enters one public piece, other artists judge it in rounds (their area, then their region, then national), and winners earn points toward an animated tier badge from Bronze up to Ink Royalty, a title such as "Top 15% Black and Gray" on their page, a glow behind the winning piece and a feed boost. Shops get rankings by city and style and a Hall of Fame. Judging cards show no names or follower counts, and the glow is drawn around the frame, never on the tattoo.

Strut never retouches, sharpens, smooths or enhances the tattoo itself. Edits are whole-photo only: crop, white balance, vignette and the artist's logo.
